Surface Texture Options

Querkus offers plain and brushed veneer surfaces that bring out the natural structure of oak. Brushing removes softer wood fibers to emphasize the grain and create a tactile, three-dimensional effect. Different brushing levels offer anything from a subtle texture to a deeper, more pronounced surface.
Panels are supplied pre-sanded for further finishing. After the required additional sanding, they can be stained and finished with a suitable varnish or oil to achieve the desired appearance.

Querkus features three distinct collections, each expressing a different side of oak’s natural beauty.

Natura: A celebration of natural oak, from refined, even-grained looks to more expressive character. Selected Natura designs are also available in Infinite versions for enhanced visual consistency.

Terra: Nine contemporary earth-inspired tones, ranging from light, understated shades to rich, deep browns, pair authentic oak texture with a modern color palette.

Vintage: Crafted from reclaimed oak, this collection brings history, texture, and rustic character to interiors through three distinctive looks: Harlem, Hoboken, and Baltimore.

Panels: Querkus panels feature genuine oak veneer over an MDF or particleboard core. Standard panel sizes and veneer thicknesses vary by collection and finish, with additional options available on request. Panels are supplied pre-sanded and require further finishing.

Flex and sheets: Flexible, paper-backed veneer and veneer sheets support applications such as curved surfaces, doors, furniture fronts, and custom fabrication.

Edgebanding: Matching oak veneer edge banding is available across the collection, helping create a coordinated, finished appearance.
